Crafted from 15mm strips of 6-7 oz vegetable-tanned leather from Horween, one of the oldest leather tanneries in the United States, this harness is lightweight and durable. The leather is hand-dyed in your preferred color (see swatch below—from left to right: classic black, vintage brown, rich red, deep teal, jade green, or denim blue) and affixed with shiny brass 20mm buckles in your choice of gold, rose gold, or gunmetal. Note that the vintage brown is a gel dye, which enhances the leather's pull-up, giving it a distressed character.

Note: Due to the unique proportions of each kitty, harnesses are made to order. When placing your order, please provide your kitty's measurements and your color and hardware preferences.

Sizing: I'll need 3 measurements for your kitty. For the best fit, take these measurements while your kitty is standing up. Use a flexible tape measure (or a string that you can compare to a tape measure or ruler afterward) and try to get a measurement that is snug, but not tight. A good rule of thumb is that you should be able to fit 2 fingers between your kitty and the measuring tape.

  • Start by measuring the circumference of your kitty's neck.
  • Then measure the circumference of their chest, just behind their shoulder blades. Think about the range of motion that they go through as they walk and run and make sure the tape measure passes behind the point where their legs would rub against the harness.
  • Now that you've measured your kitty's neck and chest, all I need is the distance between the two points.
