I work with a variety of materials in a range of colors and sizes. I tend to design for color and textural contrast, often mixing a colorful organic material like dyed seashells or gemstones with vintage metal. For the dangler, options are nearly limitless. I can create a custom stack based on your preferences, whether it's a monochromatic stack with a contrasting pendant, an achromatic stack with a pair of brass charms dangling from the stack, or something else. Dread stacks can be made to accommodate dreads as small as 5mm and as large as 15mm.
To get started on your custom stack, I need to know a few things from you:
- Dread Thickness: How thick are your dreads? (If you’re not sure, I can help you figure it out.)
- Color Preferences: Are there specific colors you'd like me to work with?
- Materials Preferences: Do you have any materials in mind that you’d like incorporated?
- Dangler Preferences: Do you want gemstones, a charm, cascading shells or pearls, or something else?
- Design: Do you have a specific design in mind, or do you want to give me full creative license?
Pricing will vary based on your material choices. Typically, a stack with up to 7 rings and a dangler made from materials I stock or can source from regular suppliers will cost $75. Some materials are more costly or hard to find. Cascading charms take a lot of time to make, so will cost about $20 more.
